DEXchange is a non-custodial crypto swap interface. No accounts. No KYC. No custody of your funds. You send one asset, you receive another — that's it.
You pick what you're swapping and what you want in return, enter your receiving address, and send funds to the deposit address we generate. Your new asset lands in your wallet, usually within minutes. You never create a login, and we never hold your coins.
Under the hood, DEXchange is a custom interface built on top of ChangeNOW, a licensed exchange provider that's been operating since 2017 and handles the actual swap, liquidity, and compliance layer. We built the frontend; ChangeNOW moves the assets. This split is intentional — it means you get a fast, privacy-focused experience without us reinventing (or mishandling) the regulated parts of a crypto exchange.
We don't take custody of your funds at any point. We don't require accounts, emails, or identity verification for standard swaps. We don't store your wallet addresses or transaction history server-side. We don't mix, obfuscate, or anonymize funds — this is a swap, not a privacy tool.
If a transaction requires additional verification, that's handled directly by ChangeNOW under their compliance policies, not by us. We have no ability to bypass or influence that process.
Minimal, anonymized analytics (page views, rough geography, device type) via Google Analytics — used to understand traffic patterns and improve the site. No wallet addresses, no transaction amounts, no personally identifying information. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
1,200+ cryptocurrencies across every major network — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and everything you'd expect alongside a long tail of smaller assets. Rates are live and pulled from ChangeNOW at the moment you initiate a swap.
The rate you see in the widget is the rate you get. When you enter an amount, we show you the exact quantity of the destination asset that will land in your wallet — no surprise deductions at the end.
There are two kinds of costs built into every swap. Network fees are the on-chain costs (gas on Ethereum, miner fees on Bitcoin, etc.) required to actually move your assets — they're set by the networks themselves, not by us or ChangeNOW, and they're already factored into the quote you see. Exchange spread is how ChangeNOW earns its margin on each swap — the small difference between the market rate and the rate offered to you. This is standard across every non-custodial swap service and is how the underlying exchange sustains liquidity.
DEXchange does not add a separate markup on top of the ChangeNOW rate. Our compensation comes from our partnership with ChangeNOW, not from inflating what you pay.
Depending on the asset pair, swaps may use a fixed or floating rate — fixed rates are locked at the moment of quote, while floating rates settle at the live market rate when your deposit arrives.
Crypto transactions are irreversible. Double-check your receiving address before sending — if you send to the wrong address or the wrong network, the funds are gone and we can't recover them.
